Newborn & Infant Support

The group is run by a postpartum doula with an additional certification in lactation. Every Wednesday from 10a-noon (Babies 0-8 weeks can come at 9:30a for weight checks and one-on-one lactation and question support). Located at the Cove Community Center in Lakewood.

New Parent Group

This group is run by a pediatrician and postpartum doula with additional certifications in lactation and sleep. They meet the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month from 10a-11a at Zest Pediatrics, 27540 Detroit Rd., Unit 105, Westlake, OH 44145

Lisa Falkenstein, BA, CLC, NCS, CPST

I’m the founder of Nurtured Foundation, and I’ve spent my career helping families find their way back to sleep without asking them to sacrifice their intuition. With a BA in Family Studies and as a Certified Newborn Care Specialist, I look at the big picture of your child’s development to create a plan that actually respects your baby’s unique personality.

My approach is rooted in deep professional expertise, holding certifications as a Pediatric Sleep Trainer, Lactation Counselor (CLC), and Postpartum Doula. Whether I'm supporting local Cleveland families through in-home overnight care or working with parents virtually to navigate the "tender bridge" of night weaning, my goal is to be your safe harbor in the middle of the night.
